First, our technicians identify the source and severity of the odor. We then perform a hot water rinse and extraction on the carpet or rug to remove the majority of the urine crystals.
For more severe cases, we may pull back the carpet in the affected areas to assess the full extent of the damage. If the padding is compromised, we will remove and replace it. When necessary, we can also apply an odor-blocking shellac to the subfloor to seal it.
